As part of Stockholm Design Week 2024, Ogeborg and Monica Förster unveiled a unique collaboration: I Inherited a Forest.
Rooted in Förster’s deeply personal story of inheriting a forest in northern Sweden, the collection transforms untouched landscapes—marshes, moss, lakes, and mountains—into tactile carpets and wall hangings.
The pieces felt to me like living parts of a forest, and at the same time, unknown landscapes that invited presence, introspection, and touch.
